Treetop Pod
树上舱
An accommodation unit mounted on a platform among trees, with no ground excavation.
Typical use
- Woodland sites with ground vegetation to protect
- Accommodation at canopy level for the outlook
- Sloping ground that cannot be levelled
- Low-impact accommodation inside protected areas
Why an inflatable structure
- Far lighter than a rigid cabin, so the supporting platform can be lighter
- No earthworks, which simplifies environmental approval
- Can be removed entirely for the winter
Where this is not the right choice
The structural safety of the supporting platform is not within our scope. Platform design and verification must be done by a qualified third party, and we will not accept an order on the assumption that we have covered it.
Working pressure, membrane thickness, tensile and tear strength, weight, packed volume, deployed dimensions, fire rating and warranty are being verified with our manufacturing partner and independent laboratories. We publish figures when they are documented, not before.
