Ammunition Storage Shelter

弹药物资掩体

A low inflatable shelter for temporary ammunition and stores holding in the field.

Typical use

  • Field ammunition holding areas
  • Forward resupply points
  • Exercise and range stocks
  • Disaster relief stores needing to get off the ground

Why an inflatable structure

  • Stores come off wet ground within the hour
  • No metal frame, so no structure to attract a strike
  • Packs down with the position

Where this is not the right choice

Separation distances, static control and fire provision for explosive stores are set by regulation and by the holding authority. This product is a cover; it is not a licence and does not make a site compliant.

Specifications pending supplier verification

Working pressure, membrane thickness, tensile and tear strength, weight, packed volume, deployed dimensions, fire rating and warranty are being verified with our manufacturing partner and independent laboratories. We publish figures when they are documented, not before.

Common questions

What is a drop-stitch tent?
A drop-stitch tent has walls that are themselves inflated into rigid panels, rather than a skin stretched over inflated tubes. Tens of thousands of internal threads hold the two fabric faces parallel, which is what gives the wall real thickness and stiffness.
What wind can an inflatable military tent take?
Wind rating depends on working pressure, anchoring and the specific model, and it is meaningless without a test report behind it. Ours are being verified; we publish numbers when they are documented.
What happens if a military inflatable tent is punctured?
In a chambered drop-stitch structure, the affected chamber softens and the rest of the structure stands, and the puncture is patched in the field. In air-beam construction the tube is the frame, so losing one is a structural event.

Tell us the application.
We will tell you what we can evidence today.

We are not quoting at this stage. Send the application, the environment and the quantity, and we will come back with what we can document now, what would need testing first, and what we would decline. That answer costs nothing and it is honest.
