Large-span enclosures
I need a big covered space, but building is too slow and too expensive.
Sports halls, warehouses, exhibition space and seasonal covers — plus the comparison that decides most of these purchases.
Almost every inflatable sports hall on the market is an air-supported dome: blowers run continuously to hold the entire membrane up, entry is through an airlock, and losing pressure brings the roof down. Air-wall structures do not need continuous power or an airlock, but they cost more per square metre and the gap widens with span. If you are comparing quotes without knowing which construction each one is, the comparison is meaningless.

At large spans an air-supported dome will normally be cheaper per square metre and thousands of them operate perfectly well. The case for air-wall construction is unreliable power, doors that stand open, or a building that relocates. If none of those apply to you, the dome is probably the right purchase and we will say so.

Поширені запитання
- How much does an air dome cost?
- Air-supported domes are the cheapest way to cover a large span and dominate the sports-hall market for that reason. An air-wall structure costs more per square metre; what you buy for the difference is independence from continuous blower power.
- Does an air dome need constant power?
- Yes. An air-supported dome is held up by internal pressure from blowers that run continuously, with standby power in case of failure. An air-wall structure is self-supporting once inflated and the blowers stop.
- What span can an inflatable hall cover?
- Span capability is a structural question that needs verified working pressure and material strength to answer. We do not commit to a span before that data exists.
